Mar. 15, 2016 - BLS EMS Certification Tuition Assistance Program
EMMCO East is pleased to announce the BLS Certification Tuition Assistance Program. In order to be eligible for tuition assistance, the student must: 1.Reside in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean or Potter County 2.Registering in a BLS certification program conducted by a Pennsylvania Department of Health accredited EMS Education Institute. 3.Provide a letter explaining the reason for seeking EMS provider certification. Only those students who intend on serving as an EMS provider with a licensed EMS agency will be considered eligible. ** 4.Receives a letter of support from an EMS agency. * ** *The EMS agency is under no obligation for financial support of the student or to accept/hire the student upon successful completion of the EMS certification program. ** Must be submitted to EMMCO East no later than 10 business days prior to the scheduled first night of class. If the student meets the eligibility requirements, EMMCO East will provide the tuition to the accredited EMS Education Institute on behalf of the student for the courses below and in the following amounts: Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) - $350 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - $425 Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) - $750 The student will be responsible for balance of program costs (i.e. text books, immunizations, clearances, etc.). May. 2, 2016 - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) DuSan Ambulance Service - 835 Beaver Drive, DuBois
This 184 hour course will provide basic training in all aspects of emergency medical care that an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is permitted to provide throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
